The future of CD-Roms

Now a days more & more manufactures are building Laptop's that don't contain a CD-Rom so what we think is this is the end for CD-Rom , Not Exactly one possible reason we might assume that by doing this the weight of the Laptop is significantly reduced also now a days most software's & information is available on the net or on servers & for sharing information you have option of using either USB stick or by sending through Internet or bluetooth connection. 

But still we can not rule out that this is the end of CD-Rom since still most movies & software's are available in CD & DVD's. so CD-Roms will still be available in your laptops in the near future.

If you don't have a CD-Rom available in your Laptop you can buy an external CD-Rom drive at a reasonable price.
